welcome to my myspace inspired portfolio, i tried to capture the essence of myspace while editing it to my standards.

about me

hi, i'm josh \(^w^)/

i like coding, music, and researching niche topics that no one cares about, usually related to those first two.

coding: i'm pretty fluent in html/css and basic javascript. i also know/teach godot to club members, and i'm learning java (through my school).

music: my taste is all over the place, but i lean toward punk, emo, and anything genre adjacent. i especially love 5th wave/midwest emo bands, and if a band played warped tour, they're probably in my playlist.

health: i have visual snow syndrome: a neurological disorder that causes static, afterimages, and light sensitivity (yay me).

other interests: i enjoy hiking, backpacking, and collecting physical media like vinyl and cd.

Tripwire

tripwire was made for an innovation competition in 2023 by me and friends. tripwire ended up winning the school side of the competition and compeated at districts, where it lost but we were proud of our work. the site has been archived with all its orginal code (in its unfinished and jaded state) and is no longer being updated. the code is available on github and moved here for archival purposes.

i ran one of the 50+ global locations for hackclub's first satellite hackathon project, it was really fun

imagine counterspell, but now its in 100+ locations and im still here running the best one (st. augustine for the win)
